More than one VM:Backup output report to be created

Issue/Introduction

What would cause more than one VM:Backup output report to be created?

Resolution

A VM:Backup job output listing is comprised of several different reports:

• Summary of All Tape Volumes
  
  
• Contents of Stream
  
  
• Summary of All Minidisks, FileSpaces
  
  
• Summary of All Filepools
  
  
• System Log

If any of these reports exceed 20 print pages in length, a separate listing is created for that report. If you prefer to not have separate reports, you can modify VM:Backup's CONFIG EXEC which resides on VM:Backup's 191 disk.

The 'cfgmaxpg' value will need to be changed. The default is 20.
