During Image deploy with DeployAnywhere used, DriversDB package intermittently times out while downloading. Automation logs show the package has the following GUID: 20827ddd-c698-49e8-b312-830df1d935b2
After the DriverDB package fails to download, the target machine eventually reboots and is missing critical drivers
DeployAnywhere 8.x
In at least one instance of this issue, we discovered that the DriversDB package (used for DeployAnywhere driver injection) was over 12 GB in size. Since the package was so large, intermittent download issues were seen.
It is recommended to only import critical storage and network drivers to DeployAnywhere DriversDB to prevent the package from growing too large. In many instances, drivers are mistakenly imported more than once which causes duplicates, not a replacement.
Remove un-needed drivers from DriversDB and clean up duplicate drivers. This issue is generally seen after importing large vendor driver packs instead of just importing needed critical drivers (storage and network).
If critical drivers are successfully injected, the deployed machine should automatically pull in additional needed drivers on first boot up.
