UIM Origins not available in drop-down Multi-tenant mapping in spectrumgtw probe

Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded UIM 20.4 from CU6 to CU8 and in the Multi-tenant Mapping in the spectrumgtw probe, we can not choose an origin anymore for UIM-Spectrum Mapping and for Spectrum-UIM Mapping.

The drop-down is just not populating origins from UIM. Spectrum Landscape mapping is working fine. 

 

 

 

Is this a known issue?

Environment

Release : UIM 20.4, spectrumgtw 8.69hf4, Spectrum 22.x.x

Cause

wbservices_rest not started, hung or version mismatch

Resolution

If the drop-down of UIM origin is just not presenting any origin, first check the connectivity with the OC Server in the "UIM Server configuration" Section within the spectrumgtw GUI. 

 

The connection may fail with the error: 

Connection to the specified UMP server failed. 
Please provide the correct details and make sure that the webservices_rest package is deployed on the UMP server Error Code: 

Click Close to close dialog.

 

Do the following steps to resolve the issue: 

 

1. Redeploy the webservices_rest probe (the same version running. If using 20.4 CU8 the version will be webservices_rest 20.4.8.) to the OC server. 

2. When OC wasp has completely started, stop and start the spectrumgtw probe and then check if the connection to the UIM/OC server works fine the probe GUI.  

3. Verify if the origin are now visible.
