Issue/Introduction

What steps do I need to take to upgrade from e2e_appmon previous versions such as 2.51 or 2.52 to the latest GA version for e2e_appmon / e2e_appmon_dev 3.01 and ensure that the Nimrecorder version is upgraded to 7.2.65?

How to upgrade the E2E Appmon Probe

Complete the following steps to upgrade the probe:

1. Go to Start > All Programs > NimRecorder > and select the Uninstall NimRecorder to uninstall the existing NimRecorder.
2. Delete the bin directory, if it exists.
3. Drag and drop the probe from the IM archive to Robot to upgrade the e2e_appmon_dev probe to the current version.
4. The probe also installs the bundled NimRecorder.
5. Wait for the installation to complete.
6. Execute a COLD restart (Deactivate-Activate) of the e2e_appmon probe.

The upgrade is complete. 

After you upgrade the probe, you must manually upgrade the NimRecorder browser extension to the latest version. For more information about installing the extension, see Install the NimRecorder extension.
