API-1004 Cannot add CITs on Allocation Timeline

Issue/Introduction

SUMMARY: In the Allocations Timeline (Allocations by Resource)  when trying to add a Custom Investment API-1004 error is shown and you cannot add custom investment or a project investment. 

 

STR:

1. For a custom investment where you have rights create a new instance

2. In Allocations Timeline set it for Allocations by Resource

3. Find your resource and right click to Add Investment

4. Choose the CIT instance you just created
   

   
Expected Results:  Custom Investment instance is added for the Resource's allocations. 

Actual Results:  API-1004 : Invalid resource identifier 5009022. (5009022 is the internal ID of the investment you are trying to add). 

Workaround:  Add from either Allocations Timeline  - Allocations by Investment, or from the staff on the investment itself.
