Issue/Introduction

Are Ideal 15.1 and IPC 15.1 compatible with CICS TS (Transaction Server) 5.2?

Resolution

IBM CICS TS 5.2 reached end of Support on 31 Dec 2020.

Ideal 15.1 and also IPC 15.1 were GA on 30 July 2019. When they went GA, they would have supported any GA versions of CICS TS at that time.

Therefore, Ideal and IPC 15.1 would be compatible with CICS TS 5.2. Of course, you will want to make sure your software is current, and there are no APARs that I am aware of that would remove that compatibility.
