Issue/Introduction

SYSVIEW base is delivered with few predefined DASHBOARDs and also allows creating a custom one. How the dashboards can be refreshed after having been modified? Or how to see a newly created one on the DASHBOARDs screen after creation. 

Environment

Release: 15.0, 16.0, 17.0

Resolution

Let's review 2 possible scenarios. 

Scenario 1, the existing DASHBOARD was modified. Below are steps that allows to get data based on the updated dashboard definitions.

  1.  Go to LIBCACHE cmd screen.
  2. Locate the parmlib member that has modified dashboard.  
  3. Issue RELoad subcmd again above member.  

Scenario 2, the brand new custom dashboard was created. Let's imagine that it's stored in SITE parmlib DASHTE2.  

  1. Check that SITE parmlib member GSVXDASH has )INCLUDE DASHTES2 statement.
  2. Go to LIBCACHE cmd screen and locate GSVXDASH.
  3. Issue RELoad subcmd against GSVXDASH member. 

After the above steps, DASHBOARD DASHTEST/DASHTES2 cmd will show data that reflects all modifications that were made prior.
