Gantt Freezes/Errors Upon Task Insert

Issue/Introduction

SUMMARY: 

The shortcut to insert multiple tasks in the Gantt is by pressing the 'Insert' key on the keyboard.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Open the Gantt Chart from the Task page.
2. Press the 'Insert Key' on the keyboard to insert a task, e.g. task1
3. Enter the task name and press the 'Insert Key' again to insert another task2.

Expected: 

Actual: The Gantt freezes. The system does not allow the creation of another task. Only pressing F5 or refresh will allow it to work.

There is no error in prior versions to 16.1.2. In 16.1.2, the popup error does show.

Error occurred. Please contact system adminstrator.

This is reported as DE70864 and is similar to DE70290/DE70291
which is resolved in 16.1.2.1 (Patch 1), 16.1.3
