Performance Of Job(Delete Investments and Time Reporting Periods) Slow Deleting Project

Issue/Introduction

Job is taking more than 2 hours to delete only 2 - 3 projects in 15.9.3 and even after upgrading to 16.0.3 to handle known issues reported in the following articles:

High number of rows in ODF_ITEM_POSITIONS
Task Delete or Delete Investment Job Performance Issue

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Select 3 to 4  particular projects.
2. Set inactive and Mark for deletion
3. Ensure there are no errors/rules against deletion.

4. Run the Job(Delete Investments and Time Reporting Periods) .

Expected: Job should process/delete data for a project in reasonable amoutn of time, such as 5 minutes.

Actual: It can take up to 20 minutes to 40 minutes per project.

Release : 15.9.3, 16.0.3

Resolution

Upon Engineering review, DE70690 is reported as a duplicate of DE69937/ Task deletion performance with a high number of baselines

This has been addressed in 16.1.3 through user story (S243204)
