Issue/Introduction

We uninstalled and reinstalled the Admin Console on the UIM Server and need the steps on reconfiguring the previous Authority-Signed Certificate.

Note: Nothing has changed on UIM Server. Hostname and FQDN are still the original names

Environment

  • Any Admin Console version

Resolution

1. Add the https_port key to the wasp

2. Execute the ssl_reinitilze_keystore probe command set via the wasp probe utility interface and entered the original password (password used when https was initially configured)

3. Deactivate wasp

4. Copy the original ....:\Nimsoft\probes\service\wasp\conf\wasp.keystore from a wasp folder backup.

5. Activate the wasp and confirmed that the Admin Console log with HTTPS works fine

Additional Information

Configure HTTPS in Admin Console or Operator Console (Authority-Signed Certificate)
