Symdiag tool no longer supported for Messaging Gateway

Issue/Introduction

Symdiag files created on older versions of Messaging Gateway cannot be read by more recent releases of the symdiag tools.

Environment

Release : 10.7.4

Cause

Newer releases of the symdiag tools are unable to process symdiag files created on older versions of Messaging Gateway because symdiag no longer supports Messaging Gateway and cannot interpret SMG data.

Resolution

Following the SMG 10.7.4 release, the Symdiag tool is no longer supported on Messaging Gateway and while symdiag will continue to work on older SMG releases, the archive files created by the SMG symdiag tool cannot be read by more recent releases of the symdiag viewer.
