Issue/Introduction

The sections that require improvement is pointed to by the link below  (under the two headings  - "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator" AND "Verify and Apply the Certificates on the CSR Originator". Verify is mentioned under heading "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator" where verify is not possible. Verify of certificates function is defined under heading  "Verify and Apply the Certificates on the CSR Originator and should not exist under the heading "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator".

Environment

Release : All supported PAM releases.

Cause

Verify mentioned wrongly under Upload instructions

Resolution

1. The sections that requires improvement is pointed to by the link below  (under the two headings  - "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator" AND "Verify and Apply the Certificates on the CSR Originator".

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/privileged-access-manager/4-1-3/configuring-your-server/configure-security-settings/secure-connections-using-ssl-certificates/install-certificates-in-a-cluster.html

1a. The confusion arises as under the heading "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator"  there is a mention of "Verify" but note in the PAM UI for Configuration==>Security==>Certificates=>Upload (as shown below) BUT Verify is not possible on the Upload screens.

Document Improvement/Clarification suggestion

So,  the bullet 5 - g is related to Upload certificate activity (under heading  "Upload and Apply the Third-Party Certificates on the CSR Originator") where "Verify" of certificate is not possible. 5 -g should just point to heading "Verify and Apply the Certificates on the CSR Originator" heading that deals with  verification of certificates.
