Reporter service is failing to start. we have restarted the box and the service .

For the reported issue, where the Reporter service fails to start, even after a restart of the appliance, and happens consistently so, this would have happened because of possible corruption in the preference.cfg file.
To resolve this, we recommend to restore to the last know good configuration. For guidance on the execution, please refer to the Tech. doc. with the URL below.
Where this recommended fix doesn't help get the Reporter service to start, the only other option would be a redeployment of the appliance.
