Refreshing the Active policy without recycling the DCI Controller

Issue/Introduction

If the Active policy is edited/changed (for example, modifying MIN and/or MAX MSUs value for an LPAR), is there any way to refresh that policy definition without recycling the Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) Controller?

Resolution

Yes, two possible ways:

• Using the Reset (R) line command on any line on the "Policies" panel of the DCI ISPF interface:
