N01101 NetMaster ABEND S-212 : Problem loading the DSNREXX load module

Issue/Introduction

SOLVE/NetMaster region receives ABEND S-212 when starting the SOLVE/NetMaster region.

Resolution

This is a problem loading the DSNREXX load module. It is a REXX API to DB2.

Unfortunately there's no way to disable that specific REXX feature within NetMaster. Just as we do for NCL and OML, REXX is a supported part(language) of the base product of which during the REXX INIT process it attempts to load various modules for its support.

We have created PTF LU10544 which removes the loading of that DB2 REXX API. Loading of DSNREXX was introduced long ago with the thought that perhaps a customer might use it.
