Refresh data by expanding and collapsing each group is not working with auto refresh

Issue/Introduction

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to MUX Project List page
2. Group the Project List page using Manager field
3. Identify a manager and keep a note of the count of projects this manager has. Example 5 projects
4. Expand the list
5. Change the manager to another manager
6. Collapse the list and open again
7. Check the count of projects under the manager in step#3
Expected: The count of projects should be 4
Actual: The count remains as 5 but the number of projects in the list page correctly shows as 4

Workaround: 
Refresh the page and the count of projects in the group by will be updated.

Additional Info: This issue happens with all pages that has grouping.

Release : 16.1.2

Resolution

DE70530 - This was raised with Engineering but has been flagged as Won't Fix due to the below reason. 

Refreshing the grid is a heavy action and hence for performance reasons, the entire grid refresh would be avoided.
