Not getting alarm/event from PM Portal console to Spectrum OneClick console

Issue/Introduction

When the thresholds are breached of performance in Portal console it's trigger the events on Portal console. But that events are not showing in the OneClick console.

The following errors were found in the Tomcat log file ($SPECROOT/tomcat/logs/catalina.out or stdout.log file):

java.net.UnknownHostException: <Portal_host>

Cause

DNS resolution 

Resolution

The URL http://<Portal_host>:8481/dm/inventory doesn't works in Spectrum OneClick server. The <Portal_host> hostname cannot be resolved.

 

Add the <Portal_host> and IP Addess in OneClick Server hosts file.
