Issue/Introduction

We recently identified that the wrong DB2 prod region is getting connected for OM Web Viewer. How do we change the configuration of the DB2 connection for OM Web Viewer?

 

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• Db2

Resolution

Changes to the Web Viewer database (DB2 or other) are made from the Web Viewer configtool. The following screen shots are from a Windows Server. The Web Viewer configtool script is very similar in all of the environments in which the Web Viewer runs. If you run the Web Viewer configtool and select option for the database, you can review what is currently set, and you may view and optionally change those options.

No changes will be written to your configuration file until you save them, so do not be afraid to run the configtool.
