Custom Attributes not available in Portal

Issue/Introduction

We migrated from one datacenter to another.

Followed all steps, copied all custom files to the correct destination folders.

E.G. /opt/CA/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/extensions/attributes/custAttrDevice.xml

Environment

DX NetOps :: All Supported Versions

Data Aggregator

Cause

In the DA karaf.log we see this error:

ERROR | cation-watcher-0 | 2023-06-07T06:56:13,981 | CertificationDirectoryWatcher | og.CertificationDirectoryWatcher   51 | .im.item-repository.impl |       | Caught IOException=java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/CA/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/extensions/attributes/custAttrDevice.xml (Permission denied)

 

Resolution

During the move, the permissions on the custAttrDevice.xml got messed up.

Run:

chown netopsadmin /opt/CA/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/extensions/attributes/*.xml

chmod 644 /opt/CA/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/extensions/attributes/*.xml

touch /opt/CA/IMDataAggregator/data/certifications/extensions/attributes/*.xml

 

Do a full resynch on the DA data source.

Check for the attributes.
