Issue/Introduction

I am trying to configure the IG client tools CA-RCM-DNA-14.4.2.exe and CA-RCM-DM-14.4.2.exe to connect to our server with https with port 8445. After installing client tools, I ran the command regasm.exe "C:\Program Files\CA\Identity Governance\Client Tools\Software\SageSOAP.dll" from directory C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\. I have this error when using https and port 8445. However, it works fine with http and port 8082.

Https configuration in client tools

1. Get the certificate from IG server (standalone/vApp) and copy in Client tools machine

2. Double click on the certificate in the Client tools machine

3. Click on Install Certificate

4. Select “Local Machine” and click “Next”

5. Select “Place all certificates in the following store” and click browse

6. Select “Trusted Root Certification Authorities” and click “Next”

7. Click Finish and wait for import successful message.

8. In case of vApp, Copy the contents of /etc/hosts (IG server machine) file and copy it in Client tools machine Windows\system32\Drivers\hosts file

9. Open Client tools->File->General Settings->SQL Connectivity

10. The server name should match the Subject name from the server Certificate as shown below
