Kibana/Grafana pods are not replicated in VIP Authentication Hub

Issue/Introduction

 

When running VIP AuthHub in Google Cloud, the Kibana and Grafana pods are not replicated. If these pods crash, will be there lost of the logs? Is that expected?

 

Resolution

 

Looking at the Elastic documentation, in order to preserve the data, setup a cluster and take snapshots (1)(2).

Connect with the Elastic vendor or a provider to get a way to incorporate this in the actual setting.

The same approach is valid for Grafana. Get in touch with a provider of these product to get expetise.

Unfortunately, Broadcom doesn't offering support on these.
