How do you disable the JEHF when the Address Space is active?

Issue/Introduction

We are running the s same two jobs every 10 seconds to unload a database and it is filling JHF.

How can the JEHF be disabled without recycling the STC?

Release : 11.0

Resolution

In order to disable the JEHF without recycling the STC, you will need to use the COMCHAR from the Configuration file and perform the following command:

COMCHAR SHUTDOWN JEHF

You will be asked for verification of the shutdown.   Response should be 'Y'

Once the response is entered, the JEHF is now disabled.

Next, you will need to access the Configuration File and remove or comment out the TRKHIST and JPOST.  These two parms are used to activate the JEHF recording.
