Issue/Introduction

Can not  connect to Kafka server when setting up export to Kafka form the Data Aggregator 

On the Data Aggregator in the KafkaLog.log we see repeated:

WARN  | ead | producer-2 | 2023-06-01T06:46:06,118 | NetworkClient | Context$LocationAwareKafkaLogger  434 | ix.bundles.kafka-clients |       | [Producer clientId=producer-2] Bootstrap broker kafka.server:9092 (id: -1 rack: null) disconnected

 

Environment

DX NetOps CA Performance Management 21.2.x or later

Resolution

This indicates the Data Aggregator Kafka client cannot connect to the Kafka Server.

Make sure the broker is up and there are no firewalls in between the Data Aggregator and the Kafka server
