UIMAPI - maintenance calls stop working until wasp is restarted

Issue/Introduction

After automating API calls toward the UIMAPI component, you can notice that UIMAPI hangs after some time and does not respond to API requests anymore. Restarting WASP fixes the issue temporarily.

Cause

The Dev Team identified the root cause for the increase in DB connection count from the UIMAPI endpoint.

Resolution

We replicated the issue internally by creating a scheduler on maintenance APIs. As depicted in the trend report below, we see an increase in the DB connections triggered from Operator Console WASP with UIMAPI 20.4.6. After we applied the fix (UIMAPI 20.4.6 HF1), we see the connection count is stable.

The fix is included in CU7 and later.
