Issue/Introduction

Is the Installation of Endpoint Protection (SEP) supported on 32 bit Linux system?

Environment

Linux 32-Bit

Resolution

14.3 MP1 (sav for Linux) and earlier supported installation on both 32 and 64-bit Linux platforms.

From 14.3 RU1 (SEP for Linux) and later, it is supported only on 64-bit Linux. 32-bit Linux OS is not supported.

Additional Information

The SEP Installer stub is 64-bit only in 14.3 RU1 and above.

If we run the command "od -An -t x1 -j 4 -N 1 LinuxInstaller" it will show 02 as below.

01 = 32-bit, 02 = 64-bit.
