Issue/Introduction
Just upgraded to Intertest CICS r 11 on a Z/OS 2.2 LPAR. When starting Intertest CICS release 11 in CTS 5.4 transaction CNTL abends with a 4038 abend and IGZ0153S. In the CICS log are messages

IGZ0153S Program IN25CO6I was compiled with a level of the compiler that requires service to be installed on Language Environment.
IGZ0153S Program program-name was compiled with a level of the compiler that requires service to be installed on z/OS or on the COBOL runtime component of Language Environment, or both. Contact COBOL support for further assistance.
Explanation: An attempt was made to run a program that was compiled with a release or service level of the compiler that requires maintenance to be installed on z/OS or on the COBOL runtime component of Language Environment,
or both, but that maintenance has not been installed.
System action: The application was terminated.
Programmer response: Contact your system programmer to ensure that the corresponding COBOL runtime component of Language Environment maintenance and z/OS maintenance was installed as was indicated in the recent COBOL compiler version or maintenance that was installed. Contact COBOL support for further assistance.

Resolution
Intertest CICS r 11 requires the IBM COBOL v6.2 enablement PTF PI84517 to be installed on the LPAR. Intertest CICS r 11 program IN25CO6I is compiled with COBOL 6.2
PI84517: ADD SUPPORT FOR ENTERPRISE COBOL V6.2
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: New Function: Add support for programs compiled with the Enterprise COBOL V6R2 compiler.
IBM PTF PI84517 resolved the abends.
