Issue/Introduction

What is best way to get notified if our application goes down. We would like more information on setting up notifications for Clarity or automations when services go down or usage up or service not responding

Resolution

• Clarity is currently not having the functionality to monitor the status of services and create alerts
• There is no plans to add such a functionality or report on this within Clarity product
• There is another Broadcom product, called AIOps - UIM that can be leveraged for this.
  • UIM is currently successfully used in Broadcom SAAS
  • It monitors the service you've set up and can alert you when down or at a certain percent
  • It can also automatically raise a ticket if the service isn't down but your app or database is at certain threshold, i.e. 80% CPU or 90% RAM. 
  • It can be used not only for Clarity but for any other web services
