ERROR: "XCOMN0403E Cannot open output file: No such file or directory"

Issue/Introduction

Problem sending a file from XCOM for z/OS to XCOM for Windows server with this XCOM for Windows error being received:                                                      
XCOMN0403E Cannot open output file: No such file or directory:

Environment

• XCOM™ Data Transport® for z/OS
• XCOM™ Data Transport® for Windows
• MS Windows Server

Cause

It was found that on the XCOM for Windows server side, the XCOM user used in the file transfer did not have permission to access the destination directory where the remote file was being created.

Resolution

 After policies on the server were changed the problem was resolved.
