Issue/Introduction

When defining a new structure to the Coupling Facility, the following message was observed:

IXC740I THE XCF ADMINISTRATIVE DATA UTILITY ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR WHILE USING COUPLE DATA TYPE CFRM. THE COUPLE DATA SET RESOURCE WAS NOT DEFINED TO THE SYSTEM AUTHORIZATION FACILITY.

There are no Top Secret violation messages.

Resolution

1. Permit the acid defining the sysplex structure to IBMFAC(MVSADMIN).
   
   Example:
   
   TSS PER(acid) IBMFAC(MVSADMIN) ACC(ALL)
   
   
2. Then, rerun the job to define the structure.
