Issue/Introduction

EXTRACT NETWORK job can get one the following depending on dictionary security options in effect

UT000000 IDMSUGCB *+ E DC601059  VALID USER NAME WAS NOT SPECIFIED              
UT000000 IDMSUGCB *+    DC601058  SIGNON REJECTED

or

UT000000 IDMSUGCB *+ E DC601065 USER xxxxxxx IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE COMPILER

Environment

IDMS 19.0 or later

Cause

The EXTRACT NETWORK utility will signon on to the SCHEMA compiler for the specified dictionary to gather database info.

Resolution

Depending on the OPTIONS FOR DICTIONARY Security options,  the Userid who submits the batch job must be defined as a USER in the dictionary and must have at least AUTHORITY FOR UPDATE IS ( IDMS )    or AUTHORITY FOR UPDATE IS ( ALL )
