Error: "Preferences was not updated", saving changes from Administration tab OM Web Viewer 12.1

Issue/Introduction

Trying to make some adjustments to settings in Administration tab for Display Preferences. When trying to save the changes, it is saying 'Error: Preferences was not updated'.

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• MS Windows Server

Resolution

Permissions to the C:\Program Files\CA\CA_OM_Web_Viewer\database\AdminDB folder were examined and under Properties, Security, Full Control was granted to  ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES, Administrators and Users. Still, functionality was not restored. It was not until the server was rebooted that Web Viewer Administrative changes were saved/retained.
