Issue/Introduction

Activated function level V12R1M510 in some db2 datasharing environments.

Updated the relevant entries in SETUP00 member in for these parameters:

SSIDVERF (V12R1M510)
SSIDVERC (V12R1M509)

Ran the complete bind job for the PRF tool, however; although some packages are bound with the new applicationCompat level, most of them are not (or at least the main PRF packages).

 

Still return V12R1M500

Resolution

The BIND JCL (in step GENRBIND) creates a temporary dataset in DDNAME ISPFILE.

This dataset could be catalogued and edited to update APPLCOMPAT value (from V12R1M500 to the desired one) of PRF packages PRFSQLX and PRFSQL8.

This dataset should then be supplied in the FULLBIND step for DDNAME SYSTSIN.
