Issue/Introduction

Trying to get a policy to work for a source based on priority but it is not alarming.

Environment

Release: 20.4
Component: mcs

Resolution

If you want to set a policy to override a default policy than the Priority (number) should be higher than the priority (number) that is used for the default priority. The highest number is the last one to be evaluated.

I have the main alarm policy with the Priority set to 200.

For the group where that will be overridden, I created an alarm policy with a priority of 300.

Note: I tested with the same threshold value on both, as to make sure that the priority was working based on my selection. Also the computer resides in both groups.
