Service will not restart when set to do so in ntservices probe

Issue/Introduction

We are testing with a service to see if it will restart as part of a ntservices probe configuration.

Environment

Release: Any
Component: ntservices

Resolution

Make sure the following is set:

You can then stop your service and then next polling cycle it should start the service back up.

If there is for some reason a case where a service goes down and the probe cannot start it, then you would need to review the Windows event viewer logs to see what the failure is there.

Additional Information

It should be noted that the service should be running and set to Automatic, or Automatic (delayed) in order for this to operate correctly. The nimbus robot watcher service cannot be set to do this, as the ntservices probe runs under that service, and if it is down there is no way for the probe to start it back up.
