Issue/Introduction

Does the Information Centric Analytics (ICA) service account require read or write access to either of the SQL Server system databases master and msdb?

Resolution

In addition to requiring the SQL Server sysadmin role during installation, the ICA service account requires SQL Server permissions on the databases master and msdb for day-to-day operation of the application.
