Removing The Text Prefix from Project ID

Issue/Introduction

For the Project ID Field we were wondering if there was a way to remove the prefix that is in front of the number

Environment

Release : 16.1.1

Resolution

It's possible to remove the prefix for newly created projects, but any existing will still have their original id.

To do this log into Clarity Classic UI

1. Go to Administration then "Studio" and "Objects"

2. Open the Project Object

3. Go to "Attributes" and open Project ID

4. Go to the "Auto-numbering" tab and click the "Edit" link under "Schema"

5. A new screen should open, and you should see a text row with "PRJ -", you can delete this row, or alter it if you want to display something else.
