Control Compliance Suite (CCS)

In the CCS Data Collection Status window, the Data collection Mode switches to incorrectly show Agentless collection instead of correctly displaying Agent-Based data collection with Oracle data collection jobs run on servers with a CCS Agent.

Release : CCS Infra Release 12.6.1

Resolution

Update June 1st, 2023

This seems to be a cosmetic issue as the Oracle data collection or CER job runs correctly using Agent-Based collection, but when it finishes it flips to show Agentless as the Data collection mode.

NOTE: CCS only scans Oracle PDB databases as agentless assets, so if you are scanning Oracle PDB databases it will show correctly that the Data collection mode is Agentless.

This issue was found in CCS 12.6.1, and it will be addressed in a future release.
