APM 10.8. SP1 fails to apply

Issue/Introduction

Installation of APM10.8.0.64SP1.jar fails with following messages:

The folder c:\program files\CA APM\hotfix is empty.

Environment

• Release: 10.8
• APM 10.8.0.27 on Windows 2019
• PostgreSQL 13.7 upgraded to 14.8
• OpenJDK 11

Cause

• The jar file was copied to parent directory instead of the introscope directory.

Resolution

• To resolve the issue,  copy the ' APM10.8.0.64SP1.jar' file into C:\Program Files\CA APM\Introscope10.8.0.27 Folder where the Introscope_Enterprise_Manager.exe, Introscope_WebView.exe and the *.lax Files are located.
