Missing Manage Task Runtime Management configuration in the UI.

Issue/Introduction

We are trying to resubmit "in-progress" tasks as per Resubmit Stuck In-Progress Tasks (broadcom.com) but we do not have the following from the UI:

Configurations->Configure Task Resubmission Policy System  > Task Run Time Management > Manage Task Runtime Management Configuration
 
We also cannot, as the god mode account, add it to the system manager role.  They are not present in the drop down menu in the UI.
 
 
 

Environment

Release : 14.4

This started to occur after an upgrade from 14.x to 14.4

Resolution

The upgrade role definitions need to be used. 

1.Copy apps/ca/JBoss/jboss-eap-7.2/standalone/deployments/iam_im.ear/user_console.war/WEB-INF/lib/upgradeto126sp-roledef.jar to a different location.

2. Rename upgradeto126sp-roledef.jar to upgradeto126sp-roledef.zip

3. Extract the required xml from under ..\upgradeto126sp-roledef.zip\META-INF

4. Edit the xml in question and remove the problematic tasks referencing the missing search screen

ImsTask name="Create Explore And Correlate Definition"

ImsTask name="Modify Explore And Correlate Definition" 

ImsTask name="View Explore And Correlate Definition"

5. Import the xml.

If upgrading from 12.6, use the following from the Management Console:

1. Upgrade-12.6-to-12.6SP-RoleDefinitions

2. Upgrade-12.6SP-to-14.0-RoleDefinitions

3. Upgrade-14-to-14.X-RoleDefinitions
