Issue/Introduction

My AppNeta monitoring points need to connect to a new endpoint.  I need to adjust my firewall settings.

Environment

The AppNeta product team has announced these upcoming changes. Please note the following documents that detail the actions that need to be taken and your milestone dates:

Resolution

Please ensure that your monitoring points are updated and not running any older software releases as they may be at risk of being incapable or reaching the AppNeta SaaS environment.
Please note the new port 443 targets requirements:

For more details, please visit  AppNeta’s Firewall Configuration

Here's the FQDNS being used for the new endpoints,

comms.pm.appneta.com
content.pm.appneta.com
data.pm.appneta.com

Will use the following IPs in the event you use IP White listing:

35.231.90.181 (active)
34.138.106.192 (failover)

If you use a proxy, changes may also need to be made to permit the new endpoints.

Milestone Dates:

By July 1st, 2023: All AppNeta Docker Container C50’s should be running 13.12.7 or newer
By August 1st, 2023:  All AppNeta Appliances, hardware Enterprise Monitoring Points, Virtual monitoring points and Windows and Mac Native Monitoring Points should be running 13.12.7 or newer.
