Issue/Introduction

This enhancement introduces the NAME opperand that allows you to specify a list of name expressions that identify jobs/applications that you want to purge.

 

Environment

Release 12.0

Resolution

The NAME operand allows multiple name patterns that are delimited by a comma. Wildcards including '-' (dash) and '*' (asterisk) are allowed for usage in the name pattern.
 
Examples PURGAPPL:  

PURGAPPL NAME(**Q,**R,**S) NOW
PURGAPPL NAME(ABC-) NOW
PURGAPPL NAME(**Q,**R,**S) NOW

 

Examples PURGSCHF:  

PURGSCHF APPL(*****) NAME(ABC-) NOW
PURGSCHF NAME(ABC-) NOW
PURGSCHF NAME(**Q,**R,**S) NOW
