View - SARXTD and use of Job Classes to Archive Reports

Issue/Introduction

We use SARXTD and have a job which is executing in Job Class B, but its report sysout is not routing to View.

Prior to a change in the JCL, the job was executing in class A, and the report sysout was routing to View without issue. 

Should we add the jobclass to the SARXTD PARM?

Resolution

SARXTD, the View System Extensions, can monitor and process a report by Jobclass and Sysout class:

 PARM='index,jobclass/sysclass/archclass/archdest/archform/archmedia' 

As the client did not know enough on what all runs in jobclass B, it was decided to not include B in the group of jobclasses in the PARM. 

The client opted to have the application JCL changed, to match information in SARXTD, so that the report would process.
