Saving an Annotation replaces some characters with unicode values

Issue/Introduction

When creating and saving annotations in Content > Annotations, some characters in the plaintext annotation text are being replaced with unicode representations of the character.

Example

Annotation text: Detta meddelande är skickat från en avsändare utanför

Annotation text after saving: Detta meddelande \u00E4r skickat fr\u00E5n en avs\u00E4ndare utanf\u00F6r

Resolution

This issue has been addressed with the SMG 10.8.1 release. New annotations with characters outside of US ASCII will be properly represented in the Annotation text rather than be replaced by unicode representations of the character.
