When starting a CICS region with the ACF2/CICS interface active
I get the following message

ACFAE046 ACF2/CICS Security Initialization Error, Reason=1C

What does this mean and how can I resolve it?

Resolution

The ACFAE046 - 1C indicates a LOAD Failure during ACF2 CICS initialization, specifically for module CAKSACFI.


Ensure that your region JCL has the correct CAX1CICS library in the STEPLIB concatenation, and the CAX1RPL library in the DFHRPL
concatenation.


The CAX1CICS library should be APF authorized
