Hard Allocation totals spread wrongly outside Staff member allocation periods

Issue/Introduction

When entering hard allocations on a team entry with limited duration if the Totals are set to Grand Totals, the hard allocation values are spread across all periods, not only the resource allocation period
 
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
 
1. Create a project with 01/05/23 - 31/07/23 start and finish dates
2. Add a Staff member with allocations 01/06/23 till 30/06/23
3. Set effort in FTE
4. View Options > Add Allocation, Hard Allocation to the Per-Period Metrics
                  Set the Start period: Project Start
  Set the Finish period: Project Finish
  Totals > Grand Totals
5. Add the Allocation and Hard Allocation Totals columns
6. Add 1 FTE to the totals column
7. 1 FTE is added to the June period when the Staff memeber is allocated
8. View Options > Totals > Sum of Periods
9. Add 1 FTE to the totals column
 
Expected Results: 1 FTE is added to the June period when the Staff memeber is allocated
Actuals results: 1 FTE is added to each one of the periods even if the Staff memeber is not allocated

Resolution

This is fixed in 16.1.2

Workaround: Use View Options > Totals > Sum of Periods instead
