Is it OK to change the TRUST status of a certificate?

Example:

TSS REPLACE(CERTSITE) DIGICERT(CERTA) NOTRUST

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Resolution

  • Changing the TRUST status to NOTRUST disables the certificate from being used.
  • If the certificate is shared by multiple applications, the certificate will be disabled for all application sharing it.
  • If the certificate is not being shared, then there is no concern.
  • Certificate will remain disabled until TRUST status is returned.
