What userid is passed when using the Top Secret CICS API TSSCAI to issue resource checks in CICS?

Resolution

TSSCAI is an API that allows a user written CICS application to issue security calls to Top Secret. The user signed on to the CICS terminal will be used in TSSCAI security calls.

Example:

1. User signs on to terminal/green screen via CESN transaction.

2. Runs a user written program that calls TSSCAI to see if the user is authorized for a particular resource.

3. The acid signed on in step 1 will be used for all TSSCAI security checks in the user written program.
