SACollector not starting

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to add another Standard Monitor to the existing ADA environment, the SACollector service is not starting and the below error occurs in the log:

13:10:19 Severity 2 - b_test failure at saPacketCapture.cpp 3172 -  - 122 The data area passed to a system call is too small.

 

There are two NICs, one is connected to the LAN and another to SPAN port with IP 10.0.0.1

 

 

Environment

Release : 11.1

Cause

nqpktcap41.sys is a npf driver  which is used normally for packet capture . 

nqpktcap41.sys  has a digital signature which is validated by OS. The digital signature for the nqpktcap41.sys file has expired. 

Resolution

This nqpktcap41.sys file has been recreated with a new signature, and attached to this article.
