Issue/Introduction

After upgrading to 17.3.0.22 CA Service Management Admin service could not start.

Event Viewer shows the following error:

The CA Service Management Admin service terminated with the following service-specific error: Incorrect function

Environment

Release : 17.3

Release : 17.4*

Resolution

1. Go to <local drive>\Program Files\CA\Service Management Administration\scripts\utilities\service

2. Run the tomcat_latest_service_remove.bat

3. Restart the server

4. Run the tomcat_latest_service_creation.bat
