Issue/Introduction

We have a use case where we want to generate the different UID number for UID's starting with 5Million and differnt number of app id's that we are creating using Provisioning manager in 3 M

Is there a way we can control this?

Environment

Release : 14.3

Resolution

The eTLatestUID attribute in the following object in the Provisioning Repository will store the last UID value that was used:
eTSystemSettingsName=Settings,eTSystemSettingsContainerName=System Settings,eTNamespaceName=CommonObjects,dc=etadb
And depending on the configuration we can see that during the Provisioning Global User creation, a fake eTUID value of -0000000001 is initially sent by the Provisioning Manager request and during the External Add operation the Provisioning Server is incrementing the eTLatestUID attribute I mentioned above and using the latest value in the actual Global User created in the

You cannot have 2 starting points for this attribute. It can be managed externally, and fed into provisioning.
